Programs

The Mountain Institute JTED offers a variety of Career and Technical Education programs to students who are seeking to develop specific skills towards their future Career!

Central Program options include;

  • Allied Health (Sports Medicine)
  • Allied Health (Medical Assistant)
  • Culinary Arts
  • Nursing Services
  • Pre-Engineering (Precision Machining/Robotics)
  • Transportation Technologies (Auto Repair)
  • Welding Technologies
  • Distance Learning:
    • Education Professions
    • Marketing, Management and Entrepreneurship
    • Drafting and Design Technologies
    • Business/Management and Administrative Services

Career and Technical Education programs have been selected and approved by the Mountain Institute Governing Board.  Initial program interest is generated from the member school districts, and may utilize both existing programs and new programs which meet the needs of their communities.  Each program is selected through the use of state labor market data to be high skill; high wage and/or high demand career opportunities for students are part of a CTE program!  All CTE program standards and curriculum are industry driven and span into postsecondary education opportunities.

Satellite Programs are offered at each of the Satellite School locations (Ash Fork, Bagdad, Bradshaw Mountain, Chino Valley, Mayer, Prescott, and Seligman), as well as Centralized locations around Western Yavapai County. Go to the Satellite Campus Programs page for further information.
