There’s more to being a business success than just knowing all about business. The real question is…are you a Business Leader? This course has been designed to, not only provide students with the understanding and knowledge of real-world business leadership qualities and characteristics, but to also provide an opportunity for students to evaluate, analyze and synthesize course information. This will be accomplished by presentation of course content in conjunction with attendance and participation in regional, state and national leadership conferences sponsored by the Future Business Leaders of America student organization. Students will also have the opportunity to network with representatives from local, regional, state & national businesses as well as develop themselves as organizational leaders and to embark on paths of personal leadership development. Through personal curiosity and reflection from students and personal openness and sharing in class discussions, leadership discussion groups, and one-on-one sessions with teacher, students will develop skills necessary for effective leadership.
